‘The Americans’ star’s go-to beauty pro shares snaps getting ready for the season 5 premiere of hit FX show.
Keri Russell’s longtime makeup artist Tina Turnbow went for rock ‘n’ roll glam (thinks lots of black eye liner) when it came to creating the actress’ beauty look for the season 5 premiere of The Americans on Saturday.
New York-based Turnbow, who also works with Laura Prepon and Marisa Tomei, let Pret-a-Reporter in on the behind-the-scenes action with a photo diary documenting the steps behind getting Russell red-carpet ready, from the makeup prep to walking out the door in a modern black lace suit, styled by Frank Fleming.

Rag & Bone’s chief executive and designer Marcus Wainwright has all-but-declared the fashion show dead. This season, instead of trotting out his latest men’s and women’s collections onto a runway, he asked 70 friends of the brand to pose in Rag & Bone for a series of Polaroids and portraits shot by collaborators Glen Luchford and Frank Lebon. Keri and Matthew were among those people.
