70th Emmy Awards Coverage

Keri attended the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards held at Microsoft Theater on September 17 in Los Angeles. Sadly she didn’t win but Matthew won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

While accepting his award, Rhys made mention of his co-star and partner, Keri Russell, who was also nominated for the finale season of The Americans. (Though she’s been nominated three times for the show, she’s never won.)

“And to the woman who truly got me to this award who stands in front of me every day and puts up with me — she said if you propose to me, I’ll punch you clean in the mouth — I don’t have the words. I don’t have the time. Neither of which would do you justice, except thank you, more to come,” Rhys said. “Thank you.”

Running Wild with Bear Grylls Stills

Keri Russell joins Bear on an epic journey to the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. After battling the dangerous, rolling rocks of a massive volcano, the duo descend into a mysterious canyon where they source a meager dinner of undigested seeds from a pigeon carcass, and test their luck with a grappling hook to escape the towering canyon walls. Later, after a cringe-worthy breakfast of crickets, Keri and Bear make a daring escape from a mountain peak using a paraglider. Along the way, Keri reveals her path to fame, her love of family, and the playful struggles of co-starring alongside her husband.

The episode will air on May 14 on NBC.

2018 DVF Awards

Last night Keri attended DVF Awards. She was presenting the International DVF Award to Jaha Mapenzi Dukureh. Keri was wearing shirt and pants by Diane von Furstenberg.

The DVF Awards was founded in 2010 by Diane von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to recognize and support extraordinary women who are dedicated to transforming the lives of other women; women who have had the courage to fight, the power to survive, and the leadership to inspire.

Honorees are celebrated annually at the DVF Awards ceremony at the United Nations in New York City, as part of the Women in the World conference.

Each year, five awards are bestowed to women who have demonstrated leadership, strength, and courage in their commitment to women’s causes. The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation grants each honoree $50,000 for their non-profit organization in order to further their important work.
