Some Tarrytown Homes Possible Location for TV Pilot Starring Keri Russell

“The Americans,” a television drama in the works to star Keri Russell (of “Felicity” fame and the movie Waitress) as a Russian spy living in suburban America in the 1980s, is apparently scouting home locations in Tarrytown.

According to one source, scouts were photographing every room in the houses of several Tarrytown residents this weekend. Until contracts are signed, these residents can’t talk, but a sizable fee could be on the table.

The series is being produced by DreamWorks, Fox Television Studios and FX Productions. Trying to find someone inside these operations to confirm this is much like entering a spy drama itself. Continue reading Some Tarrytown Homes Possible Location for TV Pilot Starring Keri Russell

Keri Russell Welcomes Daughter Willa Lou

Keri Russell is a mom again!

She and husband Shane Deary welcomed daughter Willa Lou Deary on Tuesday, Dec. 27 in New York City, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Everyone’s happy and healthy,” the rep says of the new addition, who joins big brother River, 4½.

Hopefully things went a bit more smoothly for Russell, who has said her first delivery experience was challenging — she revealed afterward that she’d be in labor for a full 38 hours.

“It was intense,” she revealed in 2007. “It was a long time. But it all worked out okay.”

As for being a working mom, Russell, who is best known for her turn in the TV show Felicity and also starred alongside Harrison Ford in 2010 in the film Extraordinary Measures, says she enjoys the dual roles.

“Luckily, right now, the schedule I get to keep with film really allows me” to balance work and family, she has said. “I get to work really hard for three months, but then I get to be home for four months where I get to put him to bed every night.”

She added, “I like getting to be in the adult world a little bit and then getting to be in the mom world and cook dinners. And, for me, that balance is what makes it nice.”

FX to Air Final Four Episodes of ‘Running Wilde’

Fox pulled the low-rated Will Arnett-Keri Russell comedy from its schedule for November sweeps.

Fans of Fox’s canceled comedy Running Wilde will get to see the remaining episodes after all.
The network’s corporate sibling FX is planning to broadcast the final four episodes at 10 p.m. Thursdays starting April 28.

Wilde, which stars Will Arnett and Keri Russell, failed to connect with viewers after debuting in September. Fox pulled the series from its schedule for November sweeps and declined to give it a full-season pickup.
At the Television Critics Assn. press tour in January, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly confirmed that Wilde would not be returning to the network’s schedule.

‘Running Wilde’: Fox not running back nine episodes

Bad news for fans hoping to save Running Wilde: Fox confirmed with EW that they are not ordering a back nine of the Keri Russell-Will Arnett series. Though the freshman comedy has not been officially canceled, the network’s decision to not order additional episodes is concerning — this could mean Wilde might be running off the air sometime soon. The show had been suffering in the ratings: Two weeks ago, the series attracted just 2.9 million viewers. (That number, however, came with some silver lining: It was an 18 percent increase from the week prior.) Fox also decided to bench the series for November sweeps.
