I’ve updated the gallery with screencaptures of Keri in The Magic of Ordinary Days movie. The movie is a Hallmark Hall of Fame production based on a novel of the same name by Ann Howard Creel. It was directed by Brent Shields, produced by Andrew Gottlieb and stars Keri Russell, Skeet Ulrich, and Mare Winningham.

The powerful story of one woman’s passion in a world at war.

Olivia Dunne, a studious minister’s daughter who dreams of becoming an archaeologist, never thought that the drama of World War II would affect her quiet life in Denver. But when an exhilarating flirtation reshapes her life, she finds herself in a rural Colorado outpost, married to a man she hardly knows. Overwhelmed by loneliness, Olivia tentatively tries to establish a new life, finding muchneeded friendship and solace in two Japanese American sisters who are living at a nearby internment camp. When Olivia unwittingly becomes an accomplice to a crime and is faced with betrayal, she finally confronts her own yearnings and comes to understand what she truly believes about the nature of trust and love.

Free State of Jones Release Pushed to June

STX Entertainment announced that the Civil War epic is moving from a May 13 release date to June 24. Gary Ross helms the story of Southern farmer Newt Knight, who leads a rebellion against the Confederacy. He flees the battlefields after being disillusioned by the horrors that have touched his own family. On the run, he rallies the support of fellow deserters to lead an uprising against their former comrades, in the process creating a free safe haven. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Keri Russell also star.

“We’re all out there dying so they can stay rich,” McConaughey intones as Knight in the film’s trailer.

The film will now be going up against “Independence Day: Resurgence” and Blake Lively thriller “The Shallows” at the box office.

This isn’t the first time “Free State of Jones” has been delayed. Back in October it was announced that the project was being pushed from March 11 to the date in May.

‘Free State of Jones’ Gets New Release Date

Gary Ross’ Civil War drama The Free State of Jones, starring Matthew McConaughey, will now hit theaters May 13, instead of March 11.

STX Entertainment announced the shift Thursday. In a twinned move, STX dated The Space Between Us for July 29.

In Free State of Jones, McConaughey plays a soldier for the Confederacy during the Civil War who becomes disillusioned with the South’s cause, flees the battlefield and defiantly declares a safe haven in Jones County, Miss., after marrying a former slave.

The shift to May means that Free State of Jones will open in the high-profile summer corridor, one week after Captain America: Civil War debuts. So far, the only other title slotted to roll out May 13 is Edward Snowden biopic Snowden.

Keri Russell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mahershala Ali (House of Cards) also star in Ross’ film. Free State of Jones is produced by Scott Stuber, Jon Kilik (The Hunger Games) and Ross. STX co-financed the film with IM Global.
