Comic-Con: Fox Bringing ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’
When the official Comic-Con schedule landed last week, one studio’s presentation summary was left blank.
20th Century Fox didn’t reveal what it would be bringing to Hall H on Saturday, but now there’s some information on what big-name stars will be in attendance.
The Wolverine will claw its way into the presentation, with Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold both participating. The film will hit theaters shortly after the Con, on July 26.
Fox is also bringing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Andy Serkis Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and director Matt Reeves will attend. The sci-fi film is slated for July 18, 2014.
The invite for the studio’s press conferences also teases a surprise panel and promises “something major.” There’s speculation that X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the big surprise. The film hits theaters in May 2014.
Fox’s panel begins at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday in Hall H.
Comic-Con runs July 17-21 in San Diego.

Austenland Trailer
The goal of finding the perfect man seems to be the driving force for most run-of-the-mill romantic comedies, but it’s given a bit of a twist in “Austenland,” the feature debut of “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Nacho Libre” co-writer Jerusha Hess. You see, the perfect man in this movie isn’t exactly real but he is famous… he’s Mr. Darcy, the heartthrob in Jane Austen’s “Pride And Prejudice”… Really….
Based on the novel by Shannon Hall, the film is led by Keri Russell, and tells the story of an Austen/Darcy-obsessed young woman who travels to England to a full-blown theme park dedicated to the author, but of course, nothing is quite as she thought it would be. But naturally, the strings of romance are plucked and comedy and love ensues. It looks like a pretty cutesy, girls-night-out kinda flick with Russell doing her charming best. Full disclosure weren’t too fond of it at Sundance, with our man on the ground saying it’s “playful,” containing some “great comic performances,” but ultimately “it doesn’t all come together.”

Emmys: TVGuide.com’s Picks for Best Drama Series
Emmy ballots are due Friday! Voters have mere hours to check off the names and shows they think are worthy of getting a nomination come July 18. We here at TVGuide.com have a few picks in mind ourselves. And so, here’s our final dream ballot for Best Drama Series:
The Americans
Draw the similarities to Homeland if you want, but The Americans is in a class of its own. Making unlikely protagonists out of KGB antagonists, the morally gray espionage drama has been absorbing and eminently relatable in painting the complexities of a marriage. Plus: How about those ’80s fashions?!
